PinFetch

Privacy Policy

The short version: no accounts, no stored files, and as little data as it takes to keep the tool running.

Our approach

PinFetch is built to be privacy-friendly by default. There are no user accounts, and we do not ask you to sign in or hand over personal details to use the downloader. This page explains the little data that is involved and why.

What we don't collect

  • We don't require or store names, emails, or account details.
  • We don't keep a history of the links you paste.
  • We don't store the images or videos you download. Files are streamed through the site during the transfer and are not retained afterwards.

What we do process

To keep the service available and prevent abuse, our server briefly processes standard technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type. Your IP address is used only for rate limiting — making sure no single visitor can overload the tool — and is not used to build a profile of you. These counters are short-lived and are not linked to any identity.

Cookies & advertising

PinFetch is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Third-party links

The media you download originates from Pinterest's own servers, and some pages link out to other sites. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Children's privacy

PinFetch is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the tool evolves or as advertising and legal requirements change. Any updates will appear on this page.
